What album(s) have you been waiting for, or have acquired, finally released/re-released in vinyl format?

Here's a couple that I have been waiting patiently for that are finally available:
Bryan Ferry - Mamouna
Chris Isaak - Heart Shaped World
Vangelis - The City
One that I can think of off the top of my head I'd like to have on vinyl:
Donald Fagen - Kamakiriad - Still waiting for this one

Pretty sure these were released on vinyl back in the day but not widely available and originals command $$

At first I read your post as asking about old Vinyl that never was available on CD or for download, or streaming. I'm sure that I have some worthy LPs like that but can't think of which ones they might be.

I still buy vinyl and dig it for the big graphics and the vibe, but particularly since I got a new DAC (a Chord Qutest), I'm very happy to by CDs, particularly when I see them for sale for ultra-cheap, which I often do. I'm sure though that if I really wanted vinyl copies of favorite CDs that there would be a lot of them that were never made as LPs, or at least not made recently enough to be easy to find and affordable...

I waited for a few some have produced others, nope. I would like all of Sarah Brightman's good release to go analogue, but she has not with the exception of Hymn.

I waited for Shakria and for the most part she produced most of them, and I have all of them.

After I pay my income taxes to Uncle Sam I am going to order some of DGG Original Master series all analog LP's. I get to hear a friends Mahler 6 Monday. He has the same speakers and very similar electronics, so it should be quite a treat. I am looking forward to purchasing the Tchaikovsky Sym #1 for starters. There is a Grieg LP I am interested in as #2 on my bucket list.

I probably should have phrased it...what MUSIC have you been waiting for to be released in the vinyl format. Instead of what albums. I sometimes have trouble putting in words the thoughts my brain is thinking!

Buddha Bar III
Stravinsky, Rite of Spring, Yannick Nezet-Seguin/Philadelphia Orchestra, DG
Bartok, Viola Concerto, Rivka Golani
The Kinks, Ready Steady GO! tapes, 1964/65 (long since lost)

I've always wanted one specific LP: a Sealed or Absolutely M- The Kingsman "Louie Louie" LP, original press - perfect cover & LP. Just never got it. I'd like to frame the cover.

Just a short Kingsman story for fun! I enjoy telling it ... this is the 3rd time.
--------------------------------------------------------
I should have got the LP in early 1963 but I didn't have $2.50 ~ I was just a little kid. I could have had the LP autographed by the band at the same time I bought it too!! Quite honestly, I didn't even think about it. IF The Kingsman signed it and DATED IT, & wrote the name 'Zayre' on it!!! - it would be worth many 'thousands' of dollars to the right collector now. It would have been the 'only one in the world' to a 'super rare concert event'. Yeah, I know.

I attended a SUPER-SUPER-SUPER RARE Kingsman 'live concert' in the record department of Zayre department store in Markham, Illinois in early 1963. 9 people showed up (8 were little kids and 1 was a parent). The Kingsman played 7 songs in regular, normal, 'clean cut', street clothes in the record department. They just set up some small amps, drums, small PA, organ?, plugged up and played. Louie Louie just came out on the radio stations and was all the rage!! There is zero information (on record) anywhere of the concert. The concert is believed to be a 'MYTH only', but... no it wasn't, I was there, I saw it!! NONE of us kids got an autograph. Who would ever even think of that? (I REALLY WISH they would have brought some 8x10 black and white band promo photos that they could have signed - it was the early rock days.) No one bought an LP - none of us kids had any money and the one parent probably didn't have a record player, so no need for an LP - she was just there for her son. We were all standing 'right there on the floor' of the record department with The Kingsman while they were playing. It was unreal. Like being in "band practice room". It's like they were all just Big Kids (they were 19 & 20 actually I learned a couple weeks ago). They were ALL really nice guys!! After the 7th song the singer said " That's all the songs we know!" Yeah!! Cool!! My very first ever concert and I went solo!! :) Louie Louie!!

It's not a rare album - they're around. Just looked two days ago on the 'bay' as a matter of fact. Many for sale, just Nothing 'popped out' to me - perfect in every way. No hurry - Next time.
