Music Hall MMF 2 subplatter frozen on spindle

Hi all -- newbie here. I have a Music Hall MMF 2 (tag reads MMF 2, not MMF 2.1, 2.2, etc.) The belt was just slipping. Discovered the subplatter would not turn without notable effort. Removed subplatter and spindle (see pic). I can't separate the two at all, and if I use any more force, I think I will break something. Bearing seems frozen. Sprayed penetrant, but no luck. I would try harder to separate, clean and reassemble if I knew where to apply force or correct action. Parts look expensive. Any advice? Thanks in advance!!

Welcome to A.k.
Can't see your pic. You can use your photo editor to copy and paste your image. or use the 'upload a file'.

Flip the platter over and hold it between your fingers with the spindle up and tap with a block of wood. assure your spindle won't go flying off so plan a soft spot to catch it.

Thanks. Didn't even realize that the top of the spindle wasn't permanently affixed to the subplatter. Ultimately, I have to separate spindle from bearing. Do those two parts also simply press apart? I don't see any kind of C clip or any kind of retaining item. Cheers!
