Music Hall MMF 5.1 spindle size?

Hi.

Long story short: I want to mount a new cartridge onto my MMF 5.1 turntable. Sadly, I lost the protractor that came with it awhile back. I was thinking of purchasing the Turntable Basics alignment protractor, as Roy Hall told me the original one is no longer available. But they make it for two spindle sizes; normal and oversized. I asked Mr. Hall, but he didn't know himself.

Does anybody know the spindle size on the Music Hall MMF 5.1, whether it's normal or oversized?

The RIAA standard for record hole size is .286 +.001/-.002. My spindles measure .284" in diameter. If yours is that size, I'd think it's the "normal" size.

I thought Music Hall uses the large size spindle, my MMF-5 does. My old Pioneer uses the standard.
