Just got this Musical Fidelity Preamp 3 (see pic) shipped from the UK ....I'm in the USA. The AC mains transformer has a center tap conversion re 240 VAC mains to 120 VAC... so of course I did that. Overall this preamp is slightly on the bright side but that is to my taste and the mm/mc phono stage seems especially good. . From what I gather the Preamp Mk III is the only bit of older MF kit that can be easily converted to 120 VAC? I'd like to find a P140 to match this... does anyone know whether a 120v version exists wrt P140? Or if the P140 of 240 VAC mains can easily be converted to 120 VAC like the preamp 3 can? TIA
