Musical Paradise MP 301 or similar 6L6 tube integrated

Is there anything out there that is comparable to the MP 301 that runs 6L6gc tubes? I'm thinking in the sub $500 price range with 5 - 15 watts per channel.

Secondly, does Musical Paradise ever run sales on their gear?

You ask a lot from a 6L6 tube, we see Douk Audio 7 watt Class A 6P3P 6N9P with 5Z4P rectifier on eBay and elsewhere on the WEB.

6P3P = 6L6
6N9P = 6SL7
5Z4P = GZ30, or upgrade to GZ34/5AR4

The Elekit TU-8200 is a single-ended amp that comes with 6L6GC power tubes but can run EL34's, KT 88's, etc. with auto bias. Rated at about 4 wpc triode and 8 wpc for either UL or pentode operation. The kit is an easy build and it sounds great to me. Has two line-level inputs and has a headphone jack that actual uses the output transformers rather than SS opamps. The kit can be had for a tad over your budget, shipped free from Japan. Get English instructions from the Tube Depot website.

Thanks for the replies. The Elekit looks nice but I'll probably just go for a MP 301. I was just wondering what else was in the ballpark.

I just ordered the MP 301 mk 3. I'm going to first try it out with a pair of NOS GE 6SJ7's and pair of Sylvania 6L6's.
