Spice man. Thank you. As an aside I’m looking for a similar unit but don’t have any diy skills. Do you think your general design might work in a slightly shorter cabinet (about 7 inch height) if I can find someone one to make one?

Because we discussed the project here, I'll post my thoughts and then link it to your other discussion. The diagram is okay, but loaned out my calipers/Divider and to date, have not gotten them back (insert frown face)

Just a reminder, that when the chamber divider is in place it will give equal sides to both the right and left woofer as depicted in picture 1.

Designed for 7 1/2 inch max height and using 1/2 inch MDF wood. Utilizing L400 series ADS speaker parts.

I can only assume the L400 Woofer Speaker 206-0342 is a 4 ohm speaker. So thinking if using an L400 crossover one would have to wire two 4 ohm woofers in Series Parallel to get a 4 ohm final. (I'll stand corrected).

"OR" Someone could find a pair of L700 Crossovers and sell me one (or both).

Following a discussion I was having in a previous thread, I thought to include an idea I had for gaskets for the tweeter and midrange speakers. Having used a very thin innertube originally, I ended up using some Polystyrene wrap from a Flat Screen we bought. When I originally routed out the speakers I didn't account for gaskets, which left the tweeter and midrange plates rise above the baffles. The Polystyrene worked very well and unless it ever comes in contact with Chlorine, will probably last longer then the wood. Woofers were gasketed with high density polystyrene weather stripping from the depot. The exact same material Parts Express sells.
