My arms hurt Grateful Dead history is mine

alwayslooking

Recorded Live
I saw an ad the other day on CL for "150 Grateful Dead" tapes. Even though it had been up a few hours I still replied with the title, "I need a miracle" She replied back that they liked my e mail response the best and they were mine. I just picked them up about 6 blocks away from me. A great guy- we talked a little about his father and how they got into the Dead.

A laptop bag full, all neatly in slots and a canvas bag full. All the way from 1969 to when they disbanded. Unbelievable condition- SA-90's, Maxell XLII and II's, songs labeled on case liner, tape pads clean. I only saw GD once but my brother was/is a big fan. And from looking at some of the titles it will be fun to listen :music: to them since they played a whole range of stuff. He also said his brother met someone and was able to get a feed of the sound board.

So after carrying them all the way back, that is why my arms hurt.:tears: :thmbsp:

Way to go Alwayslooking. Great find. Let us know some of the live titles once you get things organized. As Garcia/Hunter once wrote "Every so often you get shown the light, in the stangest of places if you look at it right." Enjoy.

Great score. Even with so much live Dead available, you may have a previously unreleased soundboard that you need to get in the right hands.

I used to get free tix to the Jerry Garcia Band and Dead shows when I was a bartender from the kind folks at Miller. I would always carry extras to the shows and give them to cute hippie chicks who "needed a miracle."
