My Basement Listening Room (Paradigm, Parasound, NAD)

I've enjoyed looking at everyone's systems...the audio version of "tour of homes", if you will.

So here's mine. My system here includes a pair of Paradigm 9SE MKII, NAD C516BEE CD player, Parasound P/LD 1100 preamp, Parasound A23 power amp, Yamaha PF-800 turntable. In the middle you'll see 2 Sony mega CD changers.

On the walls you'll see artwork featuring Ace Frehley and Jimmy Page and a drum head autographed by Eddie Money. Missing from this photo is my Aerosmith artwork and a framed copy of "Sweet Caroline" sheet music signed by Neil Diamond.

This is where I am when I want to enjoy listening to music.

Nice but I would be afraid of rumble from the speakers with the TT. Sorbothane mats would take care of that.

Very nice room. I was going to mention the same thing about the TT and speakers occupying the same counter top.

No need...the Yamaha platter is floating independently on springs as part of it's design. It can take full volume with absolutely no rumble. The speakers however are isolated with Isolate It! feet and I'm sure that helps a bit too.

Very Cool! I love the Jimmy Page art and had the same speakers which I get to hear when I visit my sister.Cheers
