Okay ..lets take it by the numbers
Not being a know it all but when I have issues, I go back to basics
1) Pretend its first time setup - that means get a level and MAKE SURE the table, the platter especially is dead level N, S, E and West
2) Before doing the arm, check the cart in the headshell...are the screws the same distance/tightness? Uneven screws can cause the cart to be angled in the headshell
3) Mount the cart and rebalance the arm VTF 1.75
4) Align the cart
5) Set the anti-skate for 2
6) Now, start a record and CUE to the lead in and lower using the cue (don't do it slow, let it do it itself). Does it jerk inward to the music ? If so, either there is a bind or anti-skate is not high enough
7) Still pulling ? Raise the anti-skate high as I originally suggested..what does it do ?
If nothing above fixes, check the wires as they leave the tonearm..is there enough slack (I would imagine so or it would PULL the other way)
Let us know..and btw..if this is your table, very nice
