Wrong place and time BUT, if you didn't want to make your own would you consider Audioquest ICs and would they have to be the tol model? thanks and yes those sure are very nicely done cables :thmbsp:
 
hah I feel this is a poor reason to bump, but where did you get those little gold "skirts" that attach where the wires split?

Nice job.
I would suggest wearing nitrile or latex gloves during assembly though to avoid the corrosive effects of sweat and oils on the copper conductors.
 
If you want your amp to see your speakers you should use thick massive conductors and keep them short as possible.(monoblocks)
Can`t be to fat, just fat enough. Need a short burn-in, the lower resistance improves dynamics, specially on low impedance SS-amps and unlike stranded wires there will be no mid/top distortion.
 
Depends on what kind of power you intend to push through the wires and distance to travel. A few tubewatts into a +100db hornspeaker doesn`t need too much area, lets say 12awg. Tube-amps aren`t that sensitive to resistance with their higher utput impedance.
But if you`re trying to push high-power transistor-watts into some passive floorstanding you should a) go for monoblocks placed right begind the speakers and b) fun begins around 9awg.
 
A pair of cables I made for a friend. Hopefully later this week I'll have pictures of my pair that use a higher grade termination plug.

What's the green tubing used near the banana plugs? I was going to do the bi-wire project similar to yours and that seems good for marking the wires.

Answers:

1. Canare 4S11 is a "star quad" 14-gauge cable.

2. If I didn't tell you it was wireless you would never know. I like it very much :D
