Thanks for the explanation! So, if I understood correctly, you said that this power is amazingly strong, not to be disregarded, but said it in a ironical way?
My own opinion is that I trust recommendations that come from real users, like friends or fellow AK members. The advice I've been given in AK so far has proven to be amazingly correct, e.g., basically with the composition and configuration of my systems. When I was shopping for a new CDP many AKers recommended the Cambridge Audio 640 C v2, and also an Italian friend from Florence who has one and allowed me to audition it. I bought it and since then it is one of the components I enjoy the most in my system.
