Thanks, all. Turns out they're pretty darned dirty and some are very scratched up. Did the usual hand-cleaning with Disk Doctor cleaning fluid and a sponge, but some of them them not be salvageable. We'll see.

I have a bunch of these... the Moodies, the "Silk Degrees" LP, that S/T'd "Genesis" LP, the Chicago stuff (The 1st-pressing Columbia 2-eye is great... I have the vinyl along with a great rip of that pressing... The Mastersound CD is great too). I have a bunch of Mayall. I love "I Robot" (That Classic Records hi-res digital version is great too).

One that I don't have (and I'm totally-jealous) is "Barry White's Greatest Hits". I have the CD version AND the cassette, but not the LP. I love that album. It got A LOT of play in my jacked-up car stereo back in the '90's. Nothing finer than bumpin' to Barry White with a good car system in the summertime (I had it set up for cassettes because I liked the sound). Good memories... Think i'll play some Barry...

Lot's of great albums there. I really like the Men at Work album.

+1!!!!! :thmbsp:

Such a great debut album. Excellent band....I particularly hope you enjoy that one, Wigwam.

Ghost in the Machine is another standout in your stack.

And the APP, and Boz Scaggs (hometown boy).

Man, there was some good stuff goin' on in the early 80's.

Happy Dad's day right back at ya.

Thanks again, guys. You know, I used to have that Men at Work album; wish I had not given it to a thrift store years ago - but moving 400 LPs from apartment to apartment gets old after awhile, you know?

And mine were in much better shape when I gave them away. Now that I'm recollecting them, they're in terrible condition. People just don't take care of their stuff. :tears::no:

On the bright said, I have exactly one 'bootleg' album in my collection. I used to shop at a record store in Colorado where the owner would put things aside for me from time to time. This was supposedly a stolen studio tape for a Men at Work album called "Welcome to Amerika-ka-ka." The label on the LP says "Jose y Carlos," but there is a slip liner which lists what it really is. Like all of my own originally-purchased LP's it is pristine.
