There are so many great live albums that picking the "best" is futile and argument-provoking, so I'll just list my 10 most favorite.

Second Rock and Roll Animal and Cheap Trick Live at Budokan. Two of the greatest live rock albums EVAH. :thmbsp:
 
Rock 'n' Roll Animal despite Reed and because of Wagner and Hunter. Best thing he's ever done, one of the best live albums ever. The re-issue is growing on me.

Tokyo Tapes-Scorpions for Ulrich Roth, the end of the best Scorpions ( the 70's stuff)

Strangers in the Night-UFO, the best thing they ever did, just a great record, one of those kinda unknown gems

Jimi Hendrix Experience Live at Winterland, for the intro to Hey Joe, the side comments about the amps, and the Cream tribute

Flashpoint-Rolling Stones, Yeah, Get Yer YaYas Out is more important and is fantastic too, but the Flashpoint version of sympathy for the devil...

Live at the Isle of Wight-the Who, I like it better than Leeds, which is great too.

Some Enchanted Evening-BOC Just classic

The Origin of the Feces- Type O Negative, for the live album that really wasn't but still was great. Soundman!! Hey Soundman!! RIP PETE.

Bob Dylan & the Band-Before the Flood, the vocal of "I shall be released" by Richard Manuel, just haunting

Neil Young-Live Rust, for the jawas
