My First New Bicycle Ever!

I ride my bike all over town; it´s just more practical than a car or motorcycle.

I have always owned used bikes in the €50 - €80 range. My current bike needs new tires, brakes and a seat, and I didn´t feel like putting that kind of money into it, so I bought a new KTM Life One 28" bike.

I really like it; I just need to get used to the shifting and maybe adjust it right. I paid €400 delivered

I've been super busy with work but one of my goals this year is to put more miles on the bike. I had a good run 15 to three years ago but slipped a bit.

I like their company philosophy; somewhere on their homepage I read that they are dedicated to building quality bikes, even in the lower price region.

I think mine is their cheapest model. I also like the fact that they are still made in Austria, not outsourced to China or where ever.

My daughter rides a semi-vintage KTM (by todays standards/ 1999) and it's a fan-f'n-tastic bike. I tune every bike I own every year but this thing never needs it.

Probably not. I won´t be riding all too often in the rain.

My old bike didn´t have a front fender, and surprisingly, it didn´t noticeably spray on wet roads. At least it didn´t get me wet.

I hit 39 km/h for a short stretch. It felt like I was flying
