Nice introduction James. You've found a good home here at AK. I certainly remember that SX-1250 when it first hit the market. Very nice unit. Probably a member of the family now. See ya on the boards :music: .

GOSH !! Is this site addicting ---I can't stay away from it . I've been reading thread after thread for days now . I picked up a few pointers and good info.
One of the things I'll do is get the serial #'s from my 1250 and 1000A and find out there dates of manufacture.
BUT -GOSH DARN !!! I'll be in Flordia during the big fest.:thumbsdn: I'm really dissapointed about missing that. But I already bought my airline ticket.
