My first tubes! C-J ASR-433 and SR-455A

Well, just couldn't wait to get the tone controls freshened up, and there they are (well, 1/2 of them at least). Want to get at the Loudness circuit and replace the ceramics there as well but will most likely have to pull the face plate to get at them....something I hoped to avoid, they can wait a while.

Also have two 4 uF Dayton Polys on the way from Parts Express, somehow managed to slip in under the snail mail weight and got them shipped for less than they cost, amazing.

I will warn you that almost all of the resistors in mine were way off tolerance, so be prepared for some overhaul work.

how can you test all the small value resistors my multimeter wont....

Man, every time I think of getting rid of my 433 another thread pops up and I change my mind. It's been sitting around for several years, waiting to be refreshed.

That's sure a clean one you've got there metalsmith. And nice work too!
