My Headphones streaming setup

Hi,
I'd thought lets share my setup with you guys since it's finally "complete" (as in no upgrades planned).

I don't have a proper speaker system right now and I've been focussing on getting a low-endish streaming setup for my 20 years old Sennheiser HD600 headphones.

Most components are under or just above 100 euro except for the dac, streamer and headphones.

I store my audio on a Linux server with a SMB share. This share is used as library for the Allo USBridge streamer which runs moOde audio player. Connected via USB is the Topping D50s DAC. The analogue output of the DAC goes into the FX-Audio Tube-01 pre-amp. Then it goes to the Schiit Loki EQ. Form there the signal goes in to the JDS Atom amp and finally to my HD600 headphones. All components use linear power supplies.

The idea behind this setup is to have control over the sound. Mixing very clean components without any "color" like the Atom and the D50s with an EQ and Tube pre allows me to add "color" to taste. I currently enjoy Svetlana 6JP1-E tubes the most.

I'd be afraid "my" headphone cord would fling that wizard right off the table. LOL!

@cryptout How old is your Loki? Knobs are different (better) than what I've ever seen on Schiit's website.

The wizard is an early warning system, he falls first when I don't mind my headphones cord. Hehehe. Yeah the knobs are from a local shop. I did not like the feel of the original Loki knob, they are to slick and I like more grip.

Nice simple upgrade. I have the Magni and Sys and don't like the slippery, hard to see knobs either.
