So just over 4 cu ft, actually just under 4 cu ft. or do others calculate differently? I guess you built them to fit the current location.
Still nice job on them.

Have you tried placing the system catty-corner (katty-korner?) in your room. That would put each speaker on equal footing. One in the corner and one not isn't good.
I've tried them every which way. I'm currently getting a new shop ready that will be much larger and acoustically superior to the humble shop you see here.

The correct volume is 6.59 cubic feet. 22-1/2" / 12" = 1.875' so, 1.875 x 1.875 x 1.875 = 6.59....I built them to Bob Crites' dimensions exactly, not to any other arbitrary convenience...They weigh 112 pounds each.
