I have recapped 3 pairs of OLA's and it is worth the work, though it's pretty easy. It did improve the sound. Not as big of a difference as the KLH Model Seventeens I had, but still worth it. There are 2 caps in the Advent crossover.
 
Onwardjames...yes it was a tough call between the Marantz and all Yammy setup but the Yammy was just a bit more detailed and as much as I love the looks of the Marantz the CR1020 is about the prettiest thing I've laid eyes on...
