Wow its taken awhile but its back together, turned out very nice sounds good no issues,cleaned that connected switch like suggested,deoxit all pots and switchs what a job but fun.Going to reveneer the case in black walnut my first veneer job wish me luck.Anyways heres some pics.:D

Nice work; it looks good. Lthmbsp: Best of luck on the veneer job! [I take it you've read up on how do to the veneer work, or have someone experienced to help you? It's not rocket science, but there are techniques to making it come out nicely and nice.]
 
It's a shame Sansui didn't use real veneer on the G-series cabinets. At least the G-x500 series had a more-realistic print.
 
Great job.I have asked Merrylander to redo my case and will do in awhile when he gets caught up with his other projects,in the meantime I have also found another G8000 case for $50.00 and I might atempt to do on my own also, this one going was to cover up my G while my other is being done.If it turns out OK ill have a back up you never know or sell it.:music:
