HA! An 8 track. Nice. I need to connect mine up so I can listen to the tapes eat themselves.
Bet those systems sound just fine.
 
That 8-track is killer, since it was shelved for a long time I replaced the belt and cleaned it and plays awesome. Its has yet to ever eat a tape. I had a JC penny MSC that did eat tapes all the time, way too much tension on the pinch roller was the issue. One that was corrected it was good , later sold it to my brother.
