My recently acquired Pioneer PL-518 Help

I was hoping someone here might have the counterweight for the Pioneer PL-518 or direct me to a replacement weight that would work on this table. I drove 3 hours last week to pick up a Pioneer Equalizer I'd been looking for and as it turned out the seller also had this turntable. He said he got these vintage components from an Estate sale, that he'd looked around but couldn't find the counterweight. I think he knew the guy who died, perhaps a relative. I've looked on Ebay and everywhere I can think of and cannot locate one. This table looks mint and it is a shame I can't use it until I get a suitable counterweight. Thanks

I own three of these Pioneers. Great TT. I just looked on ebay and there are many Pioneer counter weights.

Each Turntable is different. You have to find the one that was made for your model

As long as the tonearm diameter allows the counterweight to move securely and freely, they will work. Hell you can attach lead weights to the ass end of the arm and it will be fine. Just need to use a stylus scale to set tracking force. The Pioneer PL-518 shares the same counter-weight as other models.
