I think I'll keep this for awhile.

Kenwood 700M Power Amp
Thorens TD-124 w/ SME 3009 ii Improved arm w/ Ortofon 2m Black cartridge
Tannoy Monitor Gold 12" Speakers
Anthem pre1p Phono Preamp
Grado HP-1000 headphones in custom walnut cups
Mapletree Sugarmaple Sidewinder Headphone amp
Denon DCD-1520 CD player

+ A bunch of not-fancy cables tying it all together!

The Thorens TD-124 is my most recent acquisition. I love it. The motor is slightly audible, but does not affect the music at all. I love the table.

I'm keeping my eye out for a nice Kenwood 700C to compliment the 700M. Otherwise, I am in personal audio heaven.

Awesome I really wish they would come out with all the Banshees vinyl again, I have a hard time finding it anywhere and when I do I am happy.

Yes, the speakers, 12" Tannoy Golds. Purchased by my Dad in about 1970 in Ottawa, and he made the cabinets, at the time. They were the nicest part of his good but modest stereo system. They've sat in a few different of Cabinets over the years. My brother, a designer and builder, made these cabinets about 5 years ago. They're pretty modern looking. Not to everyone's taste, but I like them. The speakers sound amazing- lush, balanced, full bodied, detailed, and great at any volume. And I think they mate nicely with the system overall. Possibly near perfect. I'd be interested to compare it to other highly rated speakers. I simply haven't compared, but to compare would help me define their sonic character a bit more. Also, I"ve been intending to recap and mod the crossovers to bring it up to it's best potential. After all, they are 45 years old.

I did tidy it up for the photo shoot, but generally it is pretty clean.

Didn't realize I was so damn tidy, everyone is mentioning it!
 
Absolutely beautiful. I can't relax if my listening room isn't free of clutter so I totally relate. I'm not clear but what you are using for a preamp?
 
My preamp? Funny you should mention it, since I am actually looking for one.

I have a phono pre, which is the pre1p by Anthem.

I am trying to locate a good 700C by Kenwood preamp, or, an Accuphase 200C.

Any suggestions for a preamp?
 
Does a Denon PRA-1500 interest you? I just removed it and a Denon POA-2200 and replaced them with a Sony integrated. The Denon combo used to be my main system but I moved them to my bedroom....which was way overkill. I just put the pre on eBay last night, but if you're interested send me a PM. (Didn't mean to come here soliciting...I was genuinely curious as to what you were using)
