Hi all,
I've lurked here before but now have reason to post. My system is vintage 1978. Originally my receiver was a Concept 6.5 but I blew that up about 10 years ago plugging in cheap 4 ohm speakers
and was lucky enough to pick up a Concept 11.0 cheap. My speakers are the Concept CE-M studio monitors made by ESS. They are heil with 12 inch woofers and 14 passive radiators. I have a heavy duty Pioneer Cassette Player CT F8282 that's never used anymore, a dual direct drive 604 turntable with empire (I think) cartridge, Teac A-4300 RTR, and a Teac PD-D2500 5 disc turntable CD Player. This is my system for cranking music, I also have a surround sound system for the TV, but this is my baby. I have a question posted over on the speaker forum if anyone is inclined to take a look and answer, it's about replacing my woofers in the CE-Ms, perchance they may have caused my 11.0to blow, I just got it back from repair shop and don't want to hook speakers up until I figure out what caused it to smoke.
Thanks,
Dennis
