Its the end of the year here in the *****EDITED BY MODERATOR****state of California and beginning in January we will have to register all new rifles and shotguns along with pistols. So yesterday my wife brought this up and said to me, " you should go buy a new rifle before the end of the year." I smiled, gave her a big hug, grabbed her by the hand and we drove down the mountain to the nearest gun store. :thmbsp: I didn't have an AR yet so I bought a S&W M&P 15T. :D and while we were there I noticed a pink anodized & polished SS Carter 38 snub nosed revolver. I showed it to her and it was love at first sight! We bought them both and are now impatiently waiting for the 9th of January! Yup, I think I'll keep her!

Congrats on the new toys, uh, I mean tools. :D

Does the AR come with one of those nutty California legal non-pistol grips on it?

Oh, and pics please.

Pistol grips are legal here. You just can't add them to a gun that was bought preban like an SKS?? It gets confusing here. I couldn't add a pistol grip to the factory stock on a SKS I bought pre ban but was able to put a tapco tactical stock on it with an adjustable stock and saws grip, go figure. But yes my AR has one. Also to answers jhtstone, the first thing my wife asked after buying her new pistol was "where do I sign up for conceal/carry classes?" She is used to shooting some of my rifles but most of my pistols are too heavy for her. I'll post pics when I get them home.
