Mystery speakers Please Help!

[Danny Bell]

I got 4 of these at an Estate auction the other day They have 6 six-inch drivers in them and one tweeter. They say Japan and 8 OHM and 2.5 oz on them. There are no electronics in the cabinets, just speakers. The cabinets are 25 inches tall,16 wide and 12 inches deep.I do not think that they are home built but who knows. Thank you for your input.

Single cap cor the tweeter and the 6in drivers run full range. I'm going to guess they are old organ speaker of some kind.

That or possibly PA speakers.

Ya, they look like something you would see in a church for the oran or PA system. I would bet those larger drivers are full range. They might make for good guitar amp speakers?
