Mystery speakers please help

I picked up a pair of vintage speakers at local thrift and only bought because they were priced right and they were heavy.Dimensions are 24x13 1/2x 11 1/2 same as an AR2 but unfortunately they are not..that have a make shift cloth glued to the front ,so I'm guessing maybe they had a foam grill at one time . Tried to remove back cover to look at speakers but cover not coming off, must be glued..please help in identifying these vintage speakers...would like to put them in use....

But the weird horn mid thing... I've never seen that before. Someone has to recognize that oddity.

Are they corner cabinets? That should narrow the age down some too.

The back likely isn't glued unless you can remove that woofer from the front. Might be butyl strips, which are closer to glue by now. Definitely score the seams if you try more. Is that a bolt on the upper right front? Maybe the baffle comes out...
 
Yep, those red accordion surrounds scream EV to me, but those lipped cabs look similar Jensen tri-ettes. Those lips may hold the key.

Looks factory enough to me.

They were using the same stuff you'd have in a garage back then. Templates and routers.

That back comes off, no need for that many screws if you glue it.
 
Those connections scream AR, but I'm having no luck digging so far...
I see no ports, so that back may be sealed with some putty like Advent woofers are. Try getting a thin knife or putty blade in the seam and see if you can carefully pop it free.

They are indeed the Heathkit AS-10 MAN YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME...NOW TO HOOK THEM UP....and I did find from picture how to hook up speaker wire ..there is a jumper from T to 1
