Mystery speakers to me

Help me out AK brothers if you can!!!

Picked up some old bookshelf speakers the other day. They are about 20 inches high by 12 inches wide and 10 inches deep.It is made with real verneer and has a single phono jack plug on the back for the speaker wire. I'm guessing that it is 40 plus years old. It is advertised as being 4-way with 4 individual drivers.

Only thing I have to identify these speakers is by the logo on the front grill. I know I've seen this logo before but my memory escapes me now.

Yes, the old "Sears, Roebuck" symbol -- also seen on cameras "back in the olden days"...

Yeah, definitely from an all in one, thus the single RCA, which probably connects to some cheap dept. store all-in-one system.

*EDIT* - That's right. Wow, that's an OLD emblem. My family didn't shop at Sears when I was a kid. My mother bought a Kenmore washing machine back around 1971 that quickly turned defective, maybe 6 months after my father had his accident, and 5 months after I was born, and she discovered there was a recall on the model, specifically for the same part that went defective on hers. But since the one she had was a month beyond the date of the recall, they refused to do ANYTHING about it, not even a break in the repair cost. She went ballistic, and I think she did eventually get it taken care of by writing a letter to the vice president of the company (Something like that), but she hasn't set foot in a Sears since. That was 44 years ago.

Thanks for the fast reply guys. Definitely a Sears model although not the exact same moel as posted on k-bid. Mine has a round hole cut in the back with just enough clearance for the single phono jack. Definately Sears though. All drivers work. Doubt if it has a dedicated crossover network in it though. More than likely a few caps to act as a frequency limiters.

If that grill cloth is actually that orange that's screamin' '70's.

Yes it is orange. It has semi-hard backer to it so as to keep that shape. Grill tucks into a cavity groove that is all around the inside perimeter of the cabinet.

The drivers look to be very inexpensive in nature although the cabinets seem decent enough. It would be interesting to know if the drivers were sourced from the US or Japan, and based on appearance I would expect Japan. Most vintage Sears and Silvertone branded audio equipment is not considered desirable by collectors because quite frankly it just didn't sound very good to begin with.
