Mystery Telefunken speakers

I wonder if someone can help identifying these Telefunken speakers?
Unfortunately there is no any sticker at the back, nor any specs on drivers?
Drivers look original to me but I might be totally wrong ......

Any help much appreciated!

I got these last week and found out that both tweeters have very weak output and are also very muddy so I replaced capacitors, no change whatsoever.
Than I replaced them with original Danish VIFA D25TG-06 tweeters and voila, they are back to life!
Now my problem is how to determine speaker polarity, and main connecting wire polarity coming out of the crossover.
There is no any markings on wires, both drivers, nor crossover, also nothing on the back panel as it is hard wired.
Red wires are coming from tweeter, khaki/light brown wires from woofer and dark brow is main connecting wire coming out of the box.

I found some YouTube videos how to check speaker polarity with a simple battery test. But in this case I am not sure which wire (brown one on the photo) is + and which one -
Is it the same procedure like battery test mentioned or there is more to it? Or there is another way to check speaker and main connecting wire polarity?

Thank you

Those are very cool looking! My wife would approve of the vintage 60s style.

Without a mic to measure these, it's a WAG as to which way the tweeters should be connected. Some designs run the tweeter or mid in reversed polarity to obtain a flat(ish) frequency response. It all depends on how the crossover was designed. Since you replaced the tweeter with a newer, different model, the response will never be the same as the original, which may or may not be a bad thing. Run them whichever way sounds best to your ears.

Look to see if there is a ridge or line cast into one of the wire insulation. That would usually be plus. Sometimes the insulation will be square on one wire lead and round on the other.
Alternatively look at the posts on the drivers. Often there will be paper or cardboard insulators under the posts and one might be darker or red.

By ridge, are you referring to the flat edge on the left , red tweeter wire and also yellow woofer wire?
One more thing to confirm, dark brown is hard wired main speaker cable coming out of the cabinet. Solid brown wire is soldered together with yellow one with a ridge so I assume that is +, right?
Thank you very much for the info!
Cheers

It is not a hard and fast rule regarding which "odd" wire is plus. Sometimes they are used as minus. The important point is to note the differences and go from there.
If there is a case where a similar wire from 2 drivers are wired together then I would suspect that they are minus. That would also be an indication of which other wires are minus.

But yes, anything on the wire insulation that is not round is usually an indication of polarity.

Followed your instructions regarding wireing, recaped the other speaker last night, big difference compared to old capacitors.
These speakers sound way better than I expected! Even with non original tweeters.
Stage presence is just fantastic compared to similar size two way speakers.

Thanks again to everyone for your suggestion/advice!
