NAD 2100 Power Envelope - Won't come out of protection mode

Hello,

I just picked up an NAD 2100 Power Envelope amp, super cheap, and it won't come out of protection mode. Does anyone have any experience with these? Any thoughts on where to start troubleshooting? I haven't even opened it up yet, so thanks in advance for any guidance.

Download the service manual from hifiengine
Read up on transistor/diode testing of transistors, plenty of posts on AK
Build a dim bulb tester, you will need it after parts replacement
Identify faulty channel by measuring dc voltage at point between emitter resistors, expect significant (40-80?) voltage there
Diode test output and driver transistors and also the envelope transistors
Test emitter resistors and search for any others charred
Do not power up until you are confident that all failed parts have been identified/replaced.
