Hello all. I recently purchased some used audio gear. Included was an NAD 2200 power amp and 1240 pre. One of the interconnect inputs on the 2200 appears to have something broken or loose inside. The pin of the interconnect won't insert. I can see a piece of metal blocking the input when I look into the hole (into the amp). Don't know if something was pushed in accidentally or if an internal part is broken. I took the cover off thinking I could just get the metal out with tweezers but the housing looked complicated and I didn't want to break anything.
Is this amp worth fixing? Is the cost of taking it to a qualified shop going to exceed the cost of buying another amp? I'm not familiar with NAD repaid costs.
Very happy with my Arcam a65. Do I fix or trash? Appreciate the input (pun not intended)
