I recently acquired a NAD 4225 Tuner. FM working fine and improved when added antennae but am getting no sounds (no static either) from AM station setting even when added a basic wire antennae in the back port. Doesn’t even have a static sound you may expect if it to pick up a channel just silence. Other radios in home have no problem with AM.
Any ideas what problem might be? Hoping it is an easy fix without having to pay for it to be looked at.
Had a quick look inside but not obvious problems but I’m really not sure what to look for. Could not see any separate fuses that might suggest damage.
