NAD 7125...pop on start up.

Hi guys. Had posted before out my NAD 7125 speaker impedance. But I have an annoying issue with the NAD. When I start her up and push the power button I get a loud pop. Just kind of annoying really. Everything else runs fine...except for my percieved lack of bass. Which I find odd considering the unit has a bass control, loudness button and a bass eq. Should be booming!!! Anyway....she was in storage for over 10 years and was pretty dusty. Blew her out and used some Deoxit on the pots etc. I've heard this isn't a big issue but just want to know if I can fix it. I heard that spraying the ribbon like strips are a good Idea. Not sure if the unit has relays or not that I can clean. Any advice regarding the pop issue or weak bass would be much appreciated. No...not yet. May have a mate do that. I'm not very good at that sort of thing. What should I be looking for? I did plug it into a strip and left it on and flicked the strip on/off...no pop.
