So Leesonic was kind enough to go through my NAD 7155 receiver and freshen it up quite a bit. This was a GW find that was old and tired. I listened to it for a year before Leesonic got his hands on it.
I had always been impressed with NAD gear from the time I was a single, young man; never could quite afford it back then even though it was reasonably priced. Getting an older unit was always something in the back of my mind and I finally got the chance for a reasonable price. I hooked the unit up to a pair of Athena AS-B2 speakers that I had; it also gave me the chance to connect an Empire 298 Troubador turntable I inherited that my Dad had bought when I was just a wee lad. I was really pleased with how this old, tired NAD unit sounded, bulging caps and all. Until . . .
Leesonic you outdid yourself!! This things breathes now!! The stage depth is amazing; you can hear the fingers sliding on the guitar fret board, the snares snapping on the resonant head of the drum and place them on the stage. I've been listening to my 7155 for a week now and I'm blown away by all the new things I keep picking up.
