NAD C375 BEE issue

Non-tech user here: when I go to power on my 375BEE all of the lights for each type of input i.e. aux, CD tuner, etc. lights up blue and unit immediately shuts down and power light returns to Amber.

Any thoughts? It doesn’t seem like a power supply issue and have read postings here about some issues with that and others. Hopefully it’s not a boat anchor and not sure it’s worth fixing. It’s 14 years old, but I like the unit. thank you very much in advance.

Those can have some issues for sure. Have you tried removing the speaker cables?
It goes in protection mode.

Issues I've come across:
-Bad solders
-Burnt resistors
-Bad output transistors
-Bad capacitors

If you're a non tech user you're best off finding a tech to troubleshoot it.
 
I've no hands-on experience with the C375 BEE, but I believe the indicator lamp is either yellow (for standby), blue (for ON), or red (for protection). If it's going from yellow to blue, and immediately back to blue, I don't think it's in 'protection' as such but probably has one or other internal fault, that's indeed likely to need a hands-on tech to fix it.

Probably the only thing you could try would be to completely disconnect the amp, from everything, including all power. Give it a few minutes to 'reset' / discharge everything (same as you would for a pc), and then try turning it on again, but with nothing connected except the power lead. If it's the same then - it's definitely a tech. job.

Thanks I’ll give suggestions a try but interestingly, I let sit the way I left it for a few hours and just turned it on now and everything came on fine. likely intermittent issue and it’s just a matter of time. Thanks so much to all for your replies. I’ll post what I find after the suggestions.
 
It can be a lot of things without more detail and measuring results.
BUT
It's not protection mode if it goes ON-OFF with no RED lights.

I'd start by looking and poking around in the area of the standby SMPS circuit.
 
Well, currently my NAD 375BEE turns on every time. I did take the advice of unplugging it from the power source. Not sure that reset anything but thank you everyone for all your assistance. I am humbled by your technical knowledge and willingness to help.
