I did also ask this in the turntable forum but it might belong in here.
I have a NAD M51 dac/preamp and use it as a preamp in my system. It however is purely digital an has no analog inputs. That's ok for most of my listening (streaming audio and tv via HDMI). But I do have few hundred vinyl records from my teenage years and my kids have a Wii console (with rca audio out). I didn't think much about it and actually bought a HDMI converter for the Wii but saw an article on a PP4 phono preamp and noticed it hand an USB output and an onboard A/D converter. ...so has anyone tried connecting the USB out of these phono preamps to an USB input on a dac?
