Nagoaka Mp110 pin popped out!

I've recently come into posession of an orphaned Mission 775s equipped with a Nagoaka mp110 Boron. The left ground cartridge pin has been pulled out/broken off and is currently attached to the cartridge lead! I very gently pried the back of the cartridge off to take a look at the interior wiring which is still intact- the tiny ground wire is still internally soldered to the inside portion of the pin. Anybody know if its be possible to resolver or glue the pin back in place? I'd like to exhaust all possibilities before it ends up in the drawer of misfit parts.

Glue may not be the best idea since you need the pin to make electrical contact with the remaining stub. Soldering may work, but I would be really careful around any of the tiny internal wiring in there.

Yeah, I had a Jazzmaster once that somebody had tried to use krazy glue to "solder" . Didn't work so well. I'm starting to wonder if the pins are a friction fit or of the tiny colour coded collars help keep them in place- this one is missing . The internal section on the pin is larger than the external so I'm thinking the internal could be a cup that the pin sits in. I could also tin the pin, fit it in the little hole and give it some heat with the soldering iron.

It is a Nagaoka MP 11 Boron ? :idea:

If it is, save the Boron cantilever/stylus and get another MP11 cartridge body.
