Hey all,

So I know that Nakamichi have always been known for making top of the line tape decks but I am curious as to how their other components are. I found a CD player at the thrift store today for $10 that I am thinking about going back and grabbing. It is a Model CDC-4A. Just curious of it is any good?

Assuming it's working (and it should be easy to determine if it is still at least reading discs) you have to think it's easily worth much more than $10.

It's a multi-disc changer, and IIRC it uses the Pioneer magazines. Not the best of machines, but better than Nak's other changer (the Music Bank), known for eating discs. As long as it still has the magazine and it works, why not. (Extra magazines are available for reasonable prices)

Happy trails,
Larry B.
