Hello all!
At the end of December, I purchased one of these and it worked great. A few days ago, an issue starting cropping up. The deck plays great and sounds great but here’s what it’s now doing:
At the end of side A, it will fast forward after hearing silence, pop out, flip and go back in like it’s supposed to but after a second or two, the tape pops out. I noticed the tape counter doesn’t reset to all 0s and the mechanism that engages the tape never drops. If I manually flip the tape and hit play, it works fine. If I turn the deck off for a few moments and back on again, it will randomly work for a tape or 2.
The memory switch is set to off and one of the other switches I saw mentioned in another thread is set to off. I’m not sure what to check next. Any help/advice is appreciated.
