Basketball Hall of Famer Dikembe Mutombo has died at 58 years old after a battle with brain cancer. Mutombo played college basketball at Georgetown University and his NBA career spanned from 1991-2009. He had eight All-Star appearances. Nicknamed "Mount Mutombo" for his defensive prowess, he is commonly regarded as one of the best shot-blockers and defensive players of all time winning four Defensive Player Of the Year awards. Outside of basketball, he was equally well known for his humanitarian work around the globe.
