Nearly complete chanpagne communication series!

The only components left is the remote (which I don't currently have a use for as I went with the CT-970 rather than the CT-9R) and the PL-88F. I would also like to upgrade my A-7 to an A-9 at some point and my SX-6 to an SX-9 as well. Either way. Here's the stack as it sits!



Top to bottom on the left is the DT-5, A-7, SX-6, RG-9, SR-9, and SG-9.

Top to bottom on the right are the PL-L800, F-9, and two CT-970s!

It's an amazing series to collect. I was very fortunate with my collection as I found an SG-9 listed for parts that just needed a contact clean, and I managed to get the SR-9 and DT-5 new in box! Never been touched before. Unique experience getting to unbox equipment from the 80s

My very first stereo cassette deck was from that series, but not the high end ones you have. Nice collection!

That series is what Pioneer called the Communication Series. The technology was great but the faceplates were not robust and required extra care. These components are hard to get in good shape cosmetically. A full setup of these units do look nice and somewhat unique. Nice setup.
