Good Day,
Finally have the time to start fiddling with vintage equipment again!
I recently picked up a NEAT NP-801 in pretty decent condition. After cleaning it up and lubricating the motor I fired it up for this time. I am only getting about 25 rpm when set to 33 and there is a bit of rumble/grind sound to the motor.
The idler wheel seems to be in OK shape, a bit hard maybe but I dont think its slipping.
Any advice on what might be going on here? Just sat to long and there is corrosion that needs to be dealt with.
I'm willing to take a stab at it if I know what to look for.
Thanks,
Roger
