Hi all,
I am looking some original substituation for the NEC transitor pair 2sa954 and 2sc2003 in my amp Trio KA-8700 or Kenwood KA-801 but do not find it.

But i can find some Fairchild KSP92 and KSP42.

Can someone advise me whether it is possible for the replacment as my knowlegde is limited(especially hfe range).

Mouser is zero balance on the C2316's..Digikey has both in stock.

Thank you for your advice.
But it is difficult in my area to buy it.
So i decide to canibalize a Kenwood Minidisc DM-SE7 to get 2 pcs 2sa954 and 01 pcs 2sc2003.

Such mini components as junk are dirty cheap to get in my country.

Digikey ships globally. But I can understand issues in supply chain when the postal or UPS is involved.

Nothing to be embarassed about salvaging parts out of something else. My blog is largely based around that concept. Most people who do any amount of board level repair tends to have boxes of salvaged parts and donor boards laying around.
