I am looking for an AK tech to help me get my 9090DB repaired. I got the receiver about a year or so ago and replaced all caps with the exception of the filter caps. The common issue of one channel not working because of the Dolby board is too much for my expertise. I tried following the directions from Pete, but got to a point that was too much and I stopped before causing damage.
The received has been put on the side for some time now and I would like to resurrect it, if possible. I am in Charlotte, NC and there is a local tech around but his reviews are mixed or not very comforting and hence I am choosing shipping.
I have a nice box and plenty of foam so I am willing to ship it back and forth on my dime. I know most of the gurus here are extremely busy, but I am not in a hurry. So please PM me if any of you is up to the challenge and let's arrange it. Thanks in advance everybody!
