I need an amplifier that is similar my Onkyo A-905x but has a tape monitor function. It also can’t have a dedicated phono input because my turntable is on the other side of the room and I don’t have a grounding wire that can reach, unless someone could make one. I also need something that is of a similar size to the that is it has to be rather compact. And something that can accommodate a graphic equaliser and a reverb unit. And it has to be a reasonable price under $300.

@abruno17 keep in mind you are asking for a recomendation here. As per AK rules if you want AK'ers who have something to sell you to reply, you'll need to add a WTB (want to buy) thread in the Bartertown Equipment forum.
Its not the ground wire thats an issue with a turntable, its the extremely long lead cables. The capacitive loading will mess with the response. If the table and amp need to be far apart, put the phono preamp next to the turntable and run long cables from the phono stage to a line-level input on the amp.
Because I only have enough room for just my turntable and my pre amp on the shelf on the other side of the room. I use my tape decks more than my turntable so I’d hate to have it be on the other side of the room.
That’s exactly what I do.
Nope it’s in my bedroom. I live with other people can’t put my stereo in another room. So where I put the turntable there is not enough room and also since I use the decks more I’d have to walk from side of the room to the other to mess with the amplifier.

What's the maximum size, that would work for you? If somewhat bigger, but still deeper than than wide, would be no problem, a Yamaha AX-10 might be an idea.
The AX-10 doesn't feature classic tape monitoring, though, 'cause its pre-amp section is a true record-selector design - which means, that integration of recorders with confidence monitoring as well as EQs/processors/filters/whatever via its tape-loops as such would work just the same, but usage would be different, as rather than choosing the source signal, that should go to the recorder or EQ/processor/filter/whatever, via the main source selector and using the tape monitor switch to choose, whether you'd want to to listen directly to the selected source or to what's delivered (back) into (one of) the tape input(s), you'd instead use the record selector to choose, which source input signal goes out to the recorder or EQ/processor/filter/whatever, and the main source selector to choose, which input signal you'd like to listen to. The AX-10 additionally also sports a classic pre-ount/main-in loop, though.
Whereas in case the AX-10 would be to big for you, another idea could be one of Aiwa's older mini component system integrated amps (SA-A10/-A22/-A25/-A30/-A60 & S-A35). Iirc, all of these sported classic tape monitoring

How about a PS Audio Sprout100? That amp retails for $700US, but if you keep an eye out on US Audiomart, online auction sites & here in Bartertown, your patience will eventually pay off & you should find one pre-owned maybe a bit above your budget. There are heaps of reviews online fyi.

*Update*. I have come up with a solution for now. I found that sharing the outputs of my Realistic Tape control center with one of my decks has solved the problem. I have my deck’s output and my tablet going to a switch box and that way I can select between my tablet or the output of my deck going into the tape controller and then into amplifier gives me monitoring capabilities. It’s now actually freed up a spare input on my amp so I’m going to get a Bluetooth adapter so I can pipe my phone through that and send that to my two head decks if I want to record with those or if I want to use my stereo for music streaming. It’s kind of janky but it will work until maybe I can afford that PS Audio Sprout or I get a different room to put my stereo in.
