G'day all, I've just found this thread and I believe that the OP has already bought a Sony which is an excellent radio, but I have a little 'Degen' DE-1103 which is tiny but unbelievably good.
I think it is every bit as good as the Sony but much lower in price. I love mine. It performs every bit as well as any of my top notch communications receivers here in my Ham Radio shack.
