Need a Technics spring c-clip

I need a spring c-clip that goes underneath the screw for the auto return adjustment on Technics SL1600/1700/1800. Anyone have a parts donor laying around? Can't even find this clip on ebay. This is the last piece I need to complete this unit. Thanks.

I don't really know what your spring c clip looks like. But, have you tried searching McMaster? They carry a large variety of fastners.
There are other warehouses for fastners. Some sell to higher volume buyers. But, McMaster or Grainger for starters.
MSC Industrial Supply or Field Fastner are possibilities.

I haven't tried that yet. I may have to improvise and use a wave washer or something. I was just hoping to make it just like stock if at all possible.

Try expanding your search.
A few places around the world sell obscure parts on ebay for Thorens and Garrard.
If you know the size, maybe someone on the bay has it listed as a Garrard or Thorens part.

Have you tried KABUSA? Might be a long shot, but they do deal with Technics turntables and modifications.

You can buy c clip assortment packages on eBay, Amazon or many hardware stores. You'll probably have all the c clips you will ever need for life of course.
