Need advice on a H/K A500

Need to find a good H/K technician to look over and bring my A500 up to spec. I am located near Pittsburgh (Wheeling WV to be exact). Any upgrades or tricks that I should have done? I've read a lot of the threads related to A 500...just hoping to find a technician near me that has experience with Harman/Kardon tube amps. Thanks in advance.

FWIW, I bought a big lot of tube gear last year. A bunch of it went on to Mike at Hudson Valley HiFi. He is user HVHiFi on AK.

One of the pieces was an unrestored HK A50K, the kit version of the A500. You might want to check with Mike to see if he'd want to work on your amp. Not in your back yard but it might be an option.

Thanks for the help. I may just do that, if I can't find a local tech.
 
Yes, he doesn't show the A500 kits on his web site.
If you email him, though, he will send you a quote and/or list of parts he offers.
