Need advice on buying Klipsch 4.2 speakers

I've been offered the chance to buy some Klipsch 4.2 speakers (Oak finish) for 250.00 dollars. The guy originally wanted 350.00. Is this a good deal? I'm wanting some true "audiophile" speakers. Will these cut the mustard? I'll listen to them of course but thought if anyone had any bad reviews it might save me a 1 hour drive. Thanks!
