I'm looking for a really good receiver. Something TOTL, but doesn't have to be a newer model. I need a lot of inputs since I like to have a full setup with players for each format. Along with that I need to have a built in AC-3 demodulator for LD playback. If I had some serious cash I would just go buy a Pioneer Elite SC-09TX. Since I don't, i'm looking at a yamaha RX-Z9 and getting an Oppo BDP-105D to connect directly to the 8ch inputs. The problem with that I just found out is that I thought the USB DAC or HDMI input in the oppo could handle DTS-MA from my HTPC. What i'm wondering is if there is another solution for connecting an HTPC and blu ray player at the same time to a receiver that doesn't have HDMI. My budget is 2000 for receiver and blu ray player and i'm fine with buying used.
